The name comes from Nianhua Bay at Wuxi, a Tang dynasty style resort town that people call the Mini Kyoto of China. You see it lit up at night, which is when it is worth seeing. Nanxun is a genuine old canal town and the boat ride through it is included. Hangzhou gives you West Lake, and the Meijiawu Tea Garden the next morning comes with a Hanfu costume experience.
Day 5 is free, with Shanghai Disneyland or the Jinmao Tower as paid options.

Airfare – This package does not include your flights. Book your own, then tell us your arrival and departure times so we can set your transfers and your tour around them.
Hotel – Rooms are twin sharing. Standard check-in is 2PM and check out is 12NN unless the itinerary says otherwise. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Children are arranged in the same room as their parents. If an extra room is needed, or for special requests, additional costs will apply.
Dates – The rate holds until 31 December 2026 and is not available over Christmas, New Year or public holidays. Rates are subject to change and all rooms are subject to availability.
Four stops are built into the itinerary: a latex shop, a pearl exhibition centre, a jade shop and a tea garden. The coach takes you, you go in, and you spend the allotted time. You do not have to buy anything. The supplier applies a penalty if a traveller refuses to go in at all, which is why we call it compulsory. It is also why a six day trip with flights costs this little.

USD 459 for a child aged 11 to 18 with a bed on normal dates, USD 399 for a child aged 2 to 10 without a bed, and around USD 199 for an infant, which covers airfare only. Note the 11 to 18 rate is higher than the adult rate. That is what the supplier quotes and we are confirming it, so ask us before booking for a family.
