Xi’an 5 Days 4 Nights with Airfare, the Terracotta Warriors and the City Wall

0
  • 5 days and 4 nights
  • Flights from Manila on China Southern
  • The Terracotta Warriors with headset and shuttle
  • 5 star hotel for all four nights
  • No compulsory shopping stops
  • Fuel surcharge already in the price

Detail

Xi’an is the old capital, thirteen dynasties of it, and this tour stays put for four nights rather than dragging you between cities. That means the Terracotta Warriors get a proper day with a headset and the shuttle bus included, and you still have time for the Daming Palace, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the city wall and the Muslim Quarter.

China Southern flies you both ways through Guangzhou. The hotel is the 5 star voco Xi’an ETDZ for all four nights, there are no compulsory shopping stops, and the fuel surcharge is already inside the price, which is unusual.

Two departures. 7 to 11 December 2026 is ₱45,435 per person, which is USD 699. 10 to 14 January 2027 is ₱51,935, or USD 799. Four breakfasts, three lunches and four dinners are included, so you are fed almost the whole way.

Price Includes

  • Return international airfare from Manila on China Southern via Guangzhou
  • Airport tax and terminal fee
  • Fuel surcharge
  • 23kg checked baggage in one piece, plus 7kg hand carry
  • Private bus with an English speaking tour guide
  • All entrance fees for the sights listed, including the Terracotta Warriors with headset and shuttle bus
  • 4 nights at a 5 star hotel on twin sharing
  • One bottle of water per person per day
  • 4 hotel breakfasts, 3 lunches and 4 dinners

Price Excludes

  • Lunch on Day 1 and Day 5
  • Single supplement if you want a room to yourself
  • China group visa
  • Travel insurance
  • Philippine travel tax
  • Tips for the driver and guide
  • Personal spending such as phone calls and the mini bar

What You Also Pay

The rate above covers what is listed under Price Includes. These are the costs that land on top of it. We would rather you saw the real number now than found it later.

  • China group visa, ₱2,600 per person, which is USD 40. We arrange it and collect the fee with your tour fee. You travel on a group visa, so you enter and leave China with the group.
  • Philippine travel tax, ₱1,950 per person, which is USD 30. Also collected with your tour fee.
  • Tips for the driver and guide, ₱1,625 per person, which is USD 25. Also collected with your tour fee.
  • Single supplement, ₱13,000 per person, which is USD 200, if you do not want to share a room.
  • Travel insurance, which is not included on this tour.
  • Lunch on the first and last days. Everything else is covered, four breakfasts, three lunches and four dinners.
  • Anything you buy at the Xi'an SEG Shopping Mall, the POP MART, the Grand Tang Mall or on Muslim Street. These are free time stops, not sales rooms, and nothing is compulsory.
  • A fuel surcharge is already inside this price, so there is nothing extra to pay there unless the airline raises it again before departure.

Itinerary

Day 1, Manila to Xi'an

On the December departure, CZ3092 leaves Manila at noon for Guangzhou, then CZ3203 at 5:05 in the afternoon, landing in Xi’an at 7:45 in the evening. On the January departure it is CZ5052 at 3:20 in the morning and CZ3237 at 9:05, landing at 11:40, so you get most of that day back. Your guide meets you and takes you to the hotel. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 2, Daming Palace, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and a hanfu

Breakfast at the hotel. The Daming Palace National Heritage Park first, with the shuttle bus and ticket included, then the Xi’an Museum, then the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Free time at the Grand Tang Mall in the evening and a hanfu experience. If the museum is closed on the day, the guide reorders the stops rather than dropping any. Lunch and dinner are both included.

Day 3, the Terracotta Warriors

Breakfast, then out to the Terracotta Warriors, with the entrance ticket, the audio headset and the shuttle bus all included. In the afternoon the large scale live show, the Legend of the Camel Bells. Then free time at the Xi’an SEG Shopping Mall with the big music fountain, and the POP MART. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 4, the city wall and the Muslim Quarter

Breakfast, then the Ancient City Wall, the complete fourteen kilometre circuit that still rings the old town. The Gao Family Courtyard after that, with traditional shadow puppetry. Free time at Bell and Drum Tower Square and then Muslim Street, which is where you eat if you have any appetite left. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 5, Xi'an to Manila

Breakfast and check out, then the airport. CZ3208 leaves Xi’an at 6:00 in the evening for Guangzhou and CZ5051 leaves at 11:45 at night, landing in Manila at 2:20 in the morning. Breakfast is the only meal included.

FAQ

What does my date cost?

7 to 11 December 2026 is ₱45,435 per person on twin sharing, which is USD 699. 10 to 14 January 2027 is ₱51,935, or USD 799. Choose your package in the booking box and the price follows.

Is the Terracotta Warriors visit the full thing?

Yes. The entrance ticket, the audio headset and the shuttle bus inside the site are all in your price, which is the part people get caught out on. You see the three excavation pits and the bronze chariot hall.

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes, and we handle it. You travel on a China group visa, which costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600, collected with your tour fee. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group and you cannot arrive early or stay on afterwards.

Is this a shopping tour?

No. JSC sells this one specifically as a non compulsory shopping package. The retail stops on the programme, the SEG mall, the POP MART, the Grand Tang Mall and Muslim Street, are places people go to anyway and nothing is compulsory.

The Xi'an Museum closes on Tuesdays. Does that matter?

On the December departure, yes. 7 December 2026 is a Monday, so Day 2 falls on a Tuesday and the museum is shut. JSC says the guide reorders that day rather than cutting anything. The January departure is unaffected. If the museum is the reason you are going, take the January date.

How many meals do I get?

Four hotel breakfasts, three lunches and four dinners. You only pay for lunch on the first and last days, which makes this one of the better fed tours in the range.

Is checked baggage included?

Yes. One piece at 23kg plus 7kg of hand carry. The fuel surcharge is included too, which most of these tours leave out.

How much for children?

A child from 2 to 11 years old without their own bed is USD 50 less than the adult, about ₱3,250 off. From 6 years old local rules require their own bed, and a child with a bed pays the adult rate. Tell us the ages when you book.

Can I have a room to myself?

Yes, for a single supplement of ₱13,000, which is USD 200. Without it you are in a twin room with another traveller. Triple rooms are limited, and where one is not available we put two of you in a twin and one in a single, with the single supplement applying to that person.
