Henan is where China kept its capital for a very long time, and this route takes in four of its old cities in five days. USD 599 per person plus a mandatory USD 120 extra, with round trip airfare, 4 star hotels and an English speaking guide.
Day 3 is the reason to come. The Longmen Grottoes at Luoyang are tens of thousands of Buddhist figures carved into limestone cliffs over four centuries, and the electric cart and headphones are included. Then the road to Dengfeng and the Shaolin Temple, with the kung fu performance and the Pagoda Forest, where generations of abbots are buried under brick towers.
Day 2 has the Hanfu experience: full makeup, period costume and the Empress Wu feast dinner at Kaifeng. That is the USD 120 mandatory item, and it is charged on top of the headline price rather than inside it. We have set it out plainly below rather than letting you find it at the payment stage.

Booking Information – Upon booking, please expect an email from us with your voucher, your reminders and what happens next.
Airfare – This package does not include your flights. Book your own, then tell us your arrival and departure times so we can set your transfers and your tour around them.
Hotel – Rooms are twin sharing. Standard check-in is 2PM and check out is 12NN unless the itinerary says otherwise. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Children are arranged in the same room as their parents. If an extra room is needed, or for special requests, additional costs will apply.
Dates – The rate holds until 31 December 2026 and is not available over Christmas, New Year or public holidays. Rates are subject to change and all rooms are subject to availability.

So your true cost is USD 719 per person on a standard departure, or USD 819 on a peak one. We list it up front because a mandatory charge outside the advertised price is the kind of thing that ruins a booking when it turns up late.
