Detail

Beijing without the shopping tour. That is the thing worth saying first, because most Beijing packages at this price run you through three or four jade and silk shops and charge you back if you do not go. This one does not.

You get the Forbidden City on the afternoon you land, Wangfujing in the evening, then a full day at the Juyongguan stretch of the Great Wall with a hanfu to wear while you are there, and the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube on the way back. Day 3 is yours, with Beijing Universal Studios available as a paid extra.

Air China flies you both ways. CA180 leaves Manila at 6:20 in the morning and lands at Beijing Capital at 10:50. Coming home, CA179 leaves at 7:05 in the evening and lands in Manila at five past midnight. Three nights at the 4 star Mercure Beijing Changping.

Two departures, both ₱45,435 per person, which is USD 699. Checked baggage is included here, 23kg plus 5kg hand carry.

Hotel after. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 2, the Great Wall at Juyongguan

FAQ

What does my date cost?

Both departures are ₱45,435 per person on twin sharing, which is USD 699. The dates are 20 to 23 February 2027 and 24 to 27 February 2027.

Is this a shopping tour?

No. JSC sells this one specifically as a non compulsory shopping package, which means no jade factory, no silk showroom and no 90 minute stops you cannot leave. Wangfujing on Day 1 is a shopping street, but that is a place people go to on purpose.

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes, and we handle it. You travel on a China group visa, which costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600, collected with your tour fee. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group and you cannot arrive early or stay on afterwards.

Is checked baggage included?

Yes. One piece at 23kg plus 5kg of hand carry.

What is the free day for?

Day 3 has no guide and no transport. Most people use it for Beijing Universal Studios, which we can add for USD 140 per person. It needs five people to go ahead, and with ten or more you get a guide rather than just the transfer. If you would rather stay in the city, Beijing’s subway is cheap and the signs are in English.

Which part of the Great Wall do we see?

Juyongguan, about an hour north of Beijing, where the wall climbs both sides of a narrow valley. It is steeper than Badaling and usually less crowded. The entrance fee is in your price.

How many meals do I get?

Three hotel breakfasts, two lunches and one dinner. You pay for dinner on two nights and lunch on the free day and the last day.

How much for children?

A child from 2 to 6 years old without their own bed is USD 50 less than the adult, about ₱3,250 off. Tell us the ages when you book.

What do I pay to hold my seat?

A deposit of USD 200 per person, about ₱13,000, within three days of confirming. It is non refundable and it cannot be transferred to another departure. The rest is due one month before you travel.
