The longer Beijing trip, with the city spread over two days instead of one and a whole free day at the end. No compulsory shopping anywhere in it.
Day 2 is Tiananmen Square and then the Forbidden City, which is the right way round and takes most of a day if you do it properly. Day 3 is the Great Wall at Juyongguan with a hanfu to wear, then the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. Day 4 is yours, and most people spend it at Beijing Universal Studios, which we can add as a paid extra.
