Detail

The one people mean when they say they want to see the ice festival. Harbin at one end, Snow Town in the middle, and the Ice and Snow World on the last full day with the ticket included.

You get the Yabuli horse drawn sleigh, Snow Town itself with its Big Stone Tablet and the Bangchui Mountain boardwalk, then Hengdaohezi for the Russian old street, the Middle East Railway Church Museum and the oil painting village. Back in Harbin, Saint Sophia Cathedral, the Polarpark, Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, and the ice city itself.

Nine departures from late November 2026 to February 2027, from ₱77,935 per person, which is USD 1,199, up to ₱110,435, or USD 1,699. The 8 January date is a different build: bullet train to Yabuli, the Chinese Baroque block in Harbin, and a Korean dinner and BBQ buffet instead.

Before 20 December the ice venue is the Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion. After that it is Ice and Snow World, which is the big one, and its opening date is set by the scenic area rather than by us.

Itinerary

Day 1, Manila to Harbin

You fly up through Beijing or Guangzhou depending on your departure and land in Harbin the same day. Your guide meets you at the airport. There is a stop at a cotton padded clothing store, which is there for anyone who has underestimated the cold, and buying is entirely voluntary. On the 8 January departure the day also takes in the Chinese Baroque block, the quarter where Chinese courtyard houses wear Baroque western facades. Hotel in Harbin.

Day 2, Yabuli and on to Snow Town

Breakfast and check out. Out to Yabuli for the horse drawn sleigh ride, by coach on most departures and by bullet train on the 8 January one. Then on to Snow Town, about two and a half hours, with the admission and shuttle included, and Xueyun Street in the evening. Night at the forest hot spring hotel in Snow Town. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 3, Snow Town, then Mudanjiang

Breakfast and check out. The Snow Town Big Stone Tablet and the Bangchui Mountain wooden boardwalk, then free time in the village, which is where the roofs under a metre of snow come from. Then about six hours on the road to Mudanjiang. On the 8 January departure dinner is upgraded to Korean cuisine. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 4, Hengdaohezi, then back to Harbin

Breakfast and check out, then an hour to Hengdaohezi. The Russian style old street, the Middle East Railway Church Museum and the oil painting village. Then three hours back to Harbin for Qunli Music Square and Saint Sophia Cathedral, the green domed Russian church in the middle of the city. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 5, the ice

Breakfast. Harbin Polarpark with the ticket included. Then the ice venue: before 20 December it is the Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion, after that it is Ice and Snow World, both ticketed. Zhongyang Pedestrian Street afterwards. Dinner is the upgraded BBQ buffet. Lunch included.

Day 6, Harbin to Manila

Breakfast and check out, then the airport and the flights home through Beijing or Guangzhou. Breakfast is the only meal included.

FAQ

What does my date cost?

29 November 2026 is ₱77,935 per person, which is USD 1,199. 1, 2 and 8 December 2026 are ₱84,435, or USD 1,299. 8 January 2027 is ₱97,435, or USD 1,499. 16 December 2026 is ₱103,935, or USD 1,599. 1 and 3 January and 7 February 2027 are ₱110,435, or USD 1,699. Choose your dates in the booking box and the price follows.

Will I see the Ice and Snow World?

If you travel after 20 December, yes, and the ticket is in your price. Before that date it has not opened for the season and the itinerary uses the Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion instead, also ticketed. The exact opening is announced by the scenic area each year, so a late November or early December departure is a Snow Town trip with ice sculpture rather than the full ice city.

What is different about the 8 January departure?

It is JSC’s bullet train build. You take the train to Yabuli rather than the coach, Day 1 adds the Chinese Baroque block in Harbin, and the meals include a Korean dinner and a BBQ buffet. It is also sold specifically as a no force shopping tour. It costs USD 1,499, which sits between the December and New Year rates.

How cold does it get?

Harbin in January sits around minus twenty in the day and colder at night, and Snow Town is colder still. You need a proper down coat, thermal base layers, insulated waterproof boots, gloves and something over your face. Day 1 includes a voluntary stop at a cotton padded clothing shop for anyone who has got it wrong, which tells you how often people do.

Is this a shopping tour?

No. The only retail stop on the programme is the cotton padded clothing store on Day 1, and the supplier states plainly that buying there is voluntary. There are no 90 minute compulsory stores and no surcharge for skipping anything.

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes, and we handle it. You travel on a China group visa, which costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600, collected with your tour fee. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group.

How many meals do I get?

Five hotel breakfasts, plus four or five lunches and four or five dinners depending on which departure you take. Either way you pay for very little of your own food on this trip, which matters when the nearest alternative is a long walk in minus twenty.

How much for children?

A child from 2 to 6 years old without their own bed is USD 100 less than the adult on every departure, about ₱6,500 off. From 6 years old local rules require their own bed and they pay the adult rate. Tell us the ages when you book.

What do I pay to hold my seat?

A deposit of USD 500 per person, about ₱32,500, within three days of confirming. It is non refundable and it cannot be transferred to another departure. The rest is due one month before you travel.
