Two nights in Iloilo City with the city tour and Garin Farm included. Iloilo is the quieter half of the Western Visayas and most people pass straight through it on the way to Boracay, which is a shame, because it holds the best Spanish era churches in the country.
The tour takes in the Miag-ao Church, a fortress church built in 1787 with a facade carved with coconut palms and a UNESCO World Heritage listing, and the Guimbal church built from the yellow sandstone quarried nearby. Garin Farm at San Joaquin is the other half of the day, an agricultural farm with a long white pilgrimage stairway climbing the hill behind it.
Two things this package does not include that most of ours do. Breakfast and airport transfers. Both are set out plainly in the next section so there are no surprises.
