USD 849 per person with the airfare included, and unlike our shorter Seoul tour this one includes checked baggage: 20kg in the hold plus 7kg hand carry.
The extra day buys you Suwon. Day 2 goes out to Hwaseong Fortress, the eighteenth century walled city that runs for nearly six kilometres around the old town, and the Haenggung palace inside it, with the Starfield Library at Suwon on the way. It also has the fried chicken school at Kyochon, where you cook your own and eat it.
Day 3 is the palace day: Gyeongbokgung with a hanbok to wear, Gwanghwamun Square, the National Folk Museum and the antique shops of Insadong. Day 5 finishes along the Cheonggyecheon Stream and through Namsangol Hanok Village before an evening flight home.
There are three compulsory shopping stops on Day 4. They are listed plainly below.

Three things. It adds a full day in Suwon for Hwaseong Fortress and the Haenggung palace. It includes 20kg of checked baggage, where the shorter tour charges USD 60 for it. And it has three compulsory shopping stops rather than four. It also flies Philippine Airlines with a civilised evening return rather than a 2am one.
Yes, 20kg in the hold plus 7kg hand carry. That is a genuine difference from the 4 day version, where a checked bag is an extra USD 60 round trip.
Yes, and you apply for it yourself. It is not part of the package. Start as soon as you book, because appointment slots are the bottleneck.
Gyeongbokgung and the National Folk Museum close every Tuesday, and the supplier substitutes Changdeokgung when that happens. None of the departures listed here put Day 3 on a Tuesday, so every date on this calendar gets you into Gyeongbokgung.
The rate is built on 20 passengers sharing a 45 seat coach with one guide. Below that the supplier either reprices or cancels. We tell you where a date stands before you pay beyond the deposit.
USD 719 for a child aged 2 to 11 without a bed and USD 749 with a bed on a standard departure, or USD 669 and USD 699 on the March 9 departure. Children aged 12 and over must have a bed under local rules.
The 9 March 2027 departure, at USD 799 instead of USD 849. It is shown separately on the booking calendar.
