Detail

This one leaves from Cebu, which is the whole reason it exists. If you are in the Visayas and tired of flying to Manila first to go anywhere, this is your Yunnan trip.

Xiamen Airlines takes you via Jinjiang to Kunming. From there it is Dali for the old town and the Santorini white terraces at the Dali Ideal City, Xizhou for the Bai minority architecture, then Lijiang for the ancient city and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain by the Spruce Meadow cable car with the Impression Lijiang show. Blue Moon Valley after that, then back south through the Chuxiong Yi ancient town to Kunming for the Naigu Stone Forest, Haigeng Dam and Park 1903.

Seven departures from November 2026 to March 2027, from ₱64,935 per person all in, which is USD 999. Four star hotels throughout and breakfast plus eight meals.

There are four retail stops on the programme. They are listed below rather than left for you to find on the bus.

Price Includes

  • Return economy airfare and tax with Xiamen Airlines, out of Cebu
  • 23kg checked baggage in one piece, plus 7kg hand carry

  • Private bus with an English speaking tour guide
  • All first entrance fees for the sights listed, including the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain cable car and the Impression Lijiang show
  • Breakfast plus 8 meals

Price Excludes

  • Travel insurance
  • China group visa

What You Also Pay

  • China group visa, ₱2,600 per person, which is USD 40.
  • Philippine travel tax, ₱1,950 per person, which is USD 30. We collect this together with your tour fee.
  • Tips for the driver and guide, ₱3,120 per person, which is USD 48. Also collected with your tour fee.
  • Single supplement, ₱10,400 per person, which is USD 160, if you do not want to share a room.
  • Travel insurance, which is not included on this tour.

FAQ

What does my date cost?

9 to 16 January 2027 is ₱64,935 per person, which is USD 999. 24 November 2026 and 16 January 2027 are ₱71,435, or USD 1,099. 12 December 2026, 27 February, 6 March and 13 March 2027 are ₱77,935, or USD 1,199. Choose your dates in the booking box and the price follows.

This leaves from Cebu, not Manila?

Correct, and that is the point of it. The flights are Cebu to Jinjiang and back on Xiamen Airlines. If you are in the Visayas this saves you the Manila leg entirely. If you are in Luzon, factor in getting to Cebu yourself, or ask us about the Manila departures to Yunnan instead.

Why is the first night in Jinjiang?

Because of how the Xiamen Airlines routing works. The Cebu flight lands at Jinjiang at ten at night and the Kunming connection leaves the next morning. The airline arranges that night’s hotel and it is in your price. You get the same again on the way home, with an afternoon in Quanzhou rather than sitting in the airport.

What are the shopping stops?

Four, and they are on the programme rather than sprung on you: a medicinal herbs exhibition centre on Day 3, a latex and silk store on Day 4, a jewellery shop on Day 5 and an astaxanthin shop on Day 6. Nothing is compulsory to buy and there is no surcharge for not buying.

How high does the cable car go?

The Spruce Meadow cable car on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reaches above 4,500 metres, and Lijiang itself sits at about 2,400. That is high enough to affect people. Go gently on Day 3, drink plenty of water, and talk to your doctor first if you have heart or lung trouble.

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes. A China group visa costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group.

How many meals do I get?

Breakfast every morning plus eight meals across the eight days. The Lijiang group dinner can be upgraded to the Imperial Banquet for USD 25 in a regular seat or USD 40 in a VIP seat.

How much for children?

A child from 11 to 17 with their own bed pays the adult rate. A child from 2 to 10 without a bed starts at USD 949, about ₱61,685. Tell us the ages and the sleeping arrangement when you book and we will quote exactly.

Can I have a room to myself?

Yes, for a single supplement of ₱10,400, which is USD 160. Without it you are in a twin room with another traveller.
