FAQ

What does my date cost?

10, 16 January, 20, 27 February and 20 March 2027 are ₱42,185 per person on twin sharing, which is USD 649. 1 January 2027 is ₱45,435, or USD 699. 25 March 2027 is ₱48,685, or USD 749. Choose your dates in the booking box and the price follows.

Tell me about the compulsory shopping.

Four stores: a Chinese medicine store and a latex store on Day 5, a tea house and a jewellery store on Day 6. Ninety minutes each, so six hours across the week. You do not have to buy anything. If the group does not complete all four, the operator adds USD 250 per person, about ₱16,250.

How does this compare with the Avatar Skiing tour?

Same length and a similar price, different trip. This one spends two nights getting to Zhangjiajie through Fenghuang and Furong, which are the prettiest parts of western Hunan and nothing to do with the mountains. The skiing tour stays in Zhangjiajie and adds Qixingshan, a glass walkway and two hours on the snow. This one feeds you better, six dinners against five.

Is Tianmen Mountain included?

No. It is an optional on Day 4 at USD 80 per person, about ₱5,200, covering the cable car, the eco vehicle, the Skywalk glass bridge and Tianmen Cave. Most people take it. Tell us when you book.

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes, and we handle it. You travel on a China group visa, which costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600, collected with your tour fee. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group.

How much driving is there?

A fair amount. Day 2 is about five and a half hours from Changsha to Fenghuang. Day 3 is two hours to Furong and another hour and a half to Zhangjiajie. Day 6 ends with four hours back to Changsha. The scenery is the reason to do it, but go in knowing.

How many meals do I get?

Six hotel breakfasts, five lunches and six dinners. You pay only for lunch on the first and last days.

How much for children?

A child from 2 to 6 years old without their own bed is USD 20 less than the adult, about ₱1,300 off. From 6 years old local rules require their own bed and they pay the adult rate. Tell us the ages when you book.

What do I pay to hold my seat?

A deposit of USD 300 per person, about ₱19,500, within three days of confirming. It is non refundable and it cannot be transferred to another departure. The rest is due one month before you travel.
