From PHP 31,720 per person, which is USD 488 at the rate we use, for Jiuzhai Valley in five days with the airfare included and no shopping stops in the itinerary. That makes it the cheapest route to Jiuzhaigou we sell.
Jiuzhai Valley is the one with the water. Terraced lakes in turquoise and cobalt, stacked up a forested valley at 2,000 to 3,000 metres, with a shuttle bus system that gets you between them. You get a full day inside the park on Day 2, the Love Sea scenic area on Day 3, Diexi Haizi and Songpan Ancient City on the way in, and the Qiang City opening ceremony at Maoxian on Day 4. The last day is Dujiangyan, with Zhongshuge, the panda statue at Yangtianwo Square, Guanxian Ancient City and the South Bridge Blue Tears.
We also run a Chengdu and Jiuzhai Valley 5 day tour on a different operator at PHP 45,435. This is the cheaper one and it flies Air China. Both go to the same park.

Yes. The operator markets it as non shopping and there are no jade, latex, medicine or tea stops anywhere in the itinerary, and no skip charge in the paperwork.
Different operator, different airline, different price. This one flies Air China and starts at PHP 31,720. The other starts at PHP 45,435. Both spend a full day inside Jiuzhai Valley National Park. If the saving matters more than the brand, take this one.
No, and this is the thing to check before booking. Panda Park or Panda Valley on Day 5 is an optional. What you do get at no extra cost is the selfie panda statue at Yangtianwo Square on Day 4, which is not the same thing. If pandas are the reason for the trip, ask us about the Chengdu tours that include them.
The operator adds USD 200 to that departure, so PHP 44,720 instead of PHP 31,720. Same itinerary. The four other departures in January, February and March are all at the base rate.
Between roughly 2,000 and 3,000 metres depending on where in the valley you are, and the Day 1 drive climbs most of the way there. Most people feel nothing worse than a little breathlessness, but if you know you react badly to altitude, say so when you book.
USD 30 fuel surcharge, USD 30 Philippine travel tax, USD 40 group visa and USD 50 tips, so USD 150 or about PHP 9,750. Then any optionals, and the single supplement from USD 139 if you want your own room.
Yes. CA480 leaves Manila at 02:55, so plan on being at the airport late the previous evening. You land at 06:55 and drive to Jiuzhaigou the same day, so Day 1 is long.
