Guizhou is the province most people skip, which is exactly why it is worth going. Mountains, waterfalls, Miao and Buyi villages, and the strangest thing in China: the five hundred metre Pingtang Sky Eye, the largest single dish radio telescope ever built, sitting in a natural limestone bowl.
You also get Huangguoshu, seventy seven metres high and a hundred and one wide, with a cave walkway behind the curtain of it. Yelang Valley, the sculpture park they call the Kingdom of Stones. Jiaxiu Pavilion on its rock in the middle of Guiyang. And the odd corners: the White House, the Twin Towers, Dolphin Square and the Hi-Le food street.
No shopping stops anywhere in the six days, local 5 star hotels throughout, and breakfast plus six meals included.
Six departures from November 2026 to March 2027, from ₱45,435 per person, which is USD 699.

Your entrance ticket is included. Getting around inside is not, which is what the optional package covers. Then Anshun Academy. Night in Anshun. Lunch and dinner included.

FAST, the Five hundred metre Aperture Spherical Telescope, built into a natural limestone sinkhole in Pingtang county. It is the largest single dish radio telescope ever constructed and it listens for pulsars and signals from deep space. Your entrance ticket is included. Phones and cameras are restricted near the dish because the electronics interfere with it, so expect to leave them behind at the checkpoint.
You do not have to take it, but most people do. At both the Sky Eye and Huangguoshu, the entrance is included and the transport inside is not. That means a lot of walking and climbing at two large sites. The USD 150 package covers the shuttle buses, the electric vehicles, the escalator at Huangguoshu, a headset and guided commentary at the Sky Eye, and a seafood barbecue buffet.
No. There are no compulsory stores anywhere in the six days, and no surcharge for not shopping. That is unusual at this price and it is the main reason to take this one over a cheaper China package.
Yes, and we handle it. You travel on a China group visa, which costs USD 40 per person, about ₱2,600, collected with your tour fee. It is a group document, so you enter and leave China together with the group.
Breakfast every morning plus six meals across the six days. They are Chinese communal meals with local Guizhou dishes, including free range chicken, which is what the province is known for. Guizhou food is sour and spicy in a way Sichuan is not, so come ready for that.
A child from 2 to 11 years old without their own bed starts at USD 659, about ₱42,835. Tell us the ages when you book and we will quote exactly for your date.
Yes, for a single supplement of ₱9,750, which is USD 150. Without it you are in a twin room with another traveller.
A fair amount. Guiyang to Pingtang, Pingtang to Anshun and Anshun back to Guiyang are all mountain roads. Guizhou has excellent motorways now, which is recent, but the province is folded country and nothing is quick.
