Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Yokohama 5 Days 4 Nights with Cebu Pacific Airfare

0
  • Duration: 5 Days 4 Nights
  • Airfare included, Cebu Pacific to Narita
  • 7kg hand carry only, checked baggage is extra
  • Japan visa not included

Detail

From PHP 71,435 per person, which is USD 1,099 at the rate we use, for five days around Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Yokohama with the Cebu Pacific airfare in the price.

Day 1 is yours. You land at Narita, take the hotel shuttle and the rest of the day is free. Then Yokohama and the Red Brick Warehouse, the Shin Yokohama Ramen Museum, Shibuya Crossing and the Hachiko statue, Odaiba Seaside Park and the Gundam Base. Day 3 goes out to Fuji for Oshino Hakkai, the earthquake experience at Fujisan Station and Gotemba Outlet, with a night at the Mount Fuji Garden Hotel. Day 4 is Asakusa, Senso-ji, Nakamise Dori and Ginza.

Two things to plan for. The fare includes 7kg hand carry only, so a checked bag is an extra purchase. And the Japan visa is not included, which means allowing time before you book a late departure.

Price Includes

  • Cebu Pacific round trip airfare, airport tax and terminal fee
  • 7kg hand carry baggage
  • 4 nights 4 star hotel with daily breakfast, twin sharing, no extra bed
  • Private coach with an English speaking guide
  • All entrance fees listed in the itinerary, including the Shin Yokohama Ramen Museum
  • Narita airport to hotel transfers by hotel shuttle
  • One bottle of water per person
  • 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner

Price Excludes

  • Japan visa
  • 20kg checked baggage
  • Single supplement, USD 400
  • Philippine travel tax, USD 30
  • Fuel surcharge increase, USD 30
  • Tips for the driver and guide, USD 25
  • Travel insurance
  • Personal expenses such as phone calls and the minibar

What You Also Pay

The rate above covers what is listed under Price Includes. These are the costs that land on top of it. We would rather you saw the real number now than found it later.

  • The Japan visa is not included and not arranged by the operator. Philippine passport holders need one, applications go through an accredited agency, and processing takes time. If you are looking at a departure less than six weeks away, talk to us before you pay anything.
  • Checked baggage. The fare covers 7kg hand carry only. A 20kg checked bag is bought separately from Cebu Pacific and the operator does not quote a price for it, so ask us for the current figure. This is the cost most people miss on these fares.
  • Philippine travel tax, USD 30 per person, collected with the tour fee.
  • Fuel surcharge increase, USD 30 per person.
  • Tips for the driver and guide, USD 25 per person, collected with the tour fee. That is USD 5 a day.
  • Single supplement, USD 400, if you want the room to yourself. That is the highest single supplement on our list, so it is worth finding a roommate.
  • Children aged 6 and over must have their own bed and pay the full adult rate. Children aged 2 to 6 without a bed pay USD 1,049 on the main departures and USD 1,149 on the peak ones, only USD 50 under the adult rate.
  • Most of your meals. Four breakfasts are included, plus one lunch and one dinner. Lunch at the Ramen Museum on Day 2 is at your own expense, and so are most other meals. Budget realistically for Tokyo food prices.
  • Entry to the Sky Tree and Tokyo Tower. Both are photo stops only, from the outside. If you want to go up either one, that is on you and on your own time.
  • A non refundable deposit of USD 500 per person is due within three days of confirming your seat, the highest on our list. The balance is due one month before departure.

FAQ

Is the Japan visa included?

No. Philippine passport holders need a Japan visa and this package does not cover it. Applications go through an accredited travel agency and processing takes time, so for a departure less than six weeks away speak to us before paying anything.

How much baggage do I get?

7kg hand carry only. That is the Cebu Pacific group fare the operator has booked. A 20kg checked bag is a separate purchase and the operator does not publish a price for it, so ask us for the current figure before you budget. On a five day trip with Gotemba Outlet and Ginza on the itinerary, most people want the checked bag.

Do I go up the Sky Tree or Tokyo Tower?

No. Both are photo stops from the outside. If you want to go up either one you do it on your own, on your own time, and the group does not wait.

Do I climb Mount Fuji?

No. Day 3 is Fuji at ground level: Oshino Hakkai, the earthquake experience at Fujisan Station and Gotemba Outlet, with a night at the Mount Fuji Garden Hotel. Whether you see the mountain itself depends entirely on the weather.

How many meals are included?

Four breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner. Everything else is at your own expense, including lunch at the Ramen Museum on Day 2. Budget properly for this one.

Why is the single supplement so high?

USD 400, which is the steepest on our list. Tokyo hotel rooms are priced per room rather than per person and single occupancy is expensive there. If you are travelling alone it is worth asking us to pair you with another solo traveller.

Which departures are the cheaper ones?

The PHP 71,435 rate covers 29 November, 6 and 11 December, 16 and 30 January, 6 February and 27 February. The PHP 77,935 rate covers 30 October, 1 November, 27 March and 28 March. Same itinerary on all of them.
